We Are Not Alone in the Universe!

My brother Gary "was teased by quite a few people..." and "...felt humiliated and ashamed a lot in school." At home he was a bit antagonistic at times as he grew up, and there was plenty of conflict amongst us, which he refers to as the "family wars." So, when Dad built a tiny cabin as an additional bedroom, Gary began to retreat to it where he read a great deal of heroic fiction. He had two friends, but still, he spent too much time alone as I saw it. Somewhere along the way he discovered Transcendental Meditation literature and began to dabble in it in order to relax and clear his mind. He explains that one day a high pitched steady tone intruded in his thoughts. It seemed to be in his ears, but now he knows it was in his mind, because when he plugged his ears he could still hear it. Shortly after it started, it became a voice which began speaking to him. It was friendly and he welcomed it, but only a day later, the voice became nasty and others joined it. Similarly to the bullies at school, the voices humiliated and shamed him, and he searched high and low around the cabin and on the roof for where they may be coming from, but to no avail.
