It All Starts Somewhere!

Our parents loved all nine of us (yes--nine kids, small house) and did the best they could with what they had. They sacrificed immensely and I am thankful for all they gave. But no one is perfect, and we each carry baggage from the difficulties and pain of life. No shame or condemnation in that; it's just a fact of life. Pain and brokenness get passed on to the next generation and often, if not always, result in more of the same. And then there are the unseen powers at work, powers that often remain mysterious, hidden and insidious.

So, what do you do with all that? Well, some of us fared better than the others, achieving high goals and coming out strong! Three of us, however, got hit somewhat harder by the circumstances about which I will share more at a later date. Chalk it up to our DNA uniqueness, sensitivities, and perhaps a target on the back of our heads! Those unseen powers are very real, as you will see later. Thank God for miracles and angels.

Thanks for sharing Lorna.

So True hey.

The mystery of how we all respond differently to the troubles we go through. And only God truly sees what is Really going on with us, and why, and what the ultimate purpose of it is.

I often think that those of us that are "weak", or seem to be affected more negatively by the hurts and sorrows that we experienced, are somehow possibly Blessed in a strange kind of way. By that I mean, Blessed in the sense that our weaknesses, sorrows, and frailties are So Precious when truly yielded to God. IF we will yield them truly to Him, He will show Himself Strong on our behalf.

That in our weaknesses…
